 WE'RE BACK!!!! Join us for the Beach to Chowder 5K & 10K on Saturday June 14. Come to the beautiful Long Beach and enjoy this amazing run. Afterwards join us at Drop Anchor for amazing clam chowder. Run/Walk on the hard pack sand along the surf. 10K runners will enjoy part of the Beautiful Discovery Trail. 5K and 10K starts at 9:00 AM.

The Astoria Scandinavian Midsummer Festival has been a tradition on Oregon's North Coast for over fifty years. The festival takes place this year from June 20th-22nd. The festival embodies the rich cultural heritage transplanted to the Astoria, Oregon region by emigrating Scandinavians. During the three days of the festival, over a dozen Scandinavian musical, dance, and theater groups are scheduled to appear and entertain. In addition, retail booths will offer handcrafts, Scandinavian import items, and traditional Scandinavian foods. So take a trip down to Astoria and join in the festivities.
